Field Study
This project started by understanding the urban homesteader and defining their needs. To understand urban homesteading, we volunteered with Garden2Table, a local community garden in San Jose. In addition to this, I also studied the design language of IKEA products. This refined the design aesthetic and allowed for an easy to assemble product.
